Major Requirements
The English major introductory requirements are designed to provide
students with a thorough grounding in the major periods and writers
of the English and American traditions. Students are then able to
build on that background through a wide variety of advanced
electives
.
Prerequisites for all courses: ENGL 1201 and 1202.
