Seton Hall English Department faculty members are distinguished by their
scholarship and their love of teaching. Senior faculty members contribute their
years of commitment to excellent teaching, while our growing family of junior
faculty members from prestigious graduate programs across the country bring
energy, enthusiasm and new areas of expertise to our classes. All of the
tenured, tenure-track faculty, and Faculty Associates in the Department of
English have doctorates from eminent and widely-respected universities.
Faculty members in the Department of English at Seton Hall are active,
publishing scholars in their particular fields, ranging from gender in Medieval
texts to the latest pedagogical innovations in composition theory. English
Department faculty members regularly publish scholarly articles in refereed
academic journals and participate in local, national, and international
