 All photocopies have to be rubbed with vegetable oil to make them transparent for use with one of the photo intaglio techniques. 
  • Objects from flowers to fly-squatters can be photocopied to produce interesting images.

  • Soft-ground like images can result by photocopying drawing or pencil rubbings. Some drawings can be used directly without photocopying.

  • Any photographic or printed image can be used, with varying degrees of image retention, with the above photo intaglio techniques.
