AP Studio Art - Drawing

AP Studio Art is for the student who wishes to seek AP Credit through submitting a Portfolio of original art work for consideration by the College Board.

Concentration

Breadth section: Students will explore art methods and create a minimum of 12 works of art for the BREADTH section of the AP portfolio (teacher designed assignments).

Concentration section: 12 works of art for the Concentration section of the AP portfolio (student selects a self discovery topic with the help of the teacher). Written commentaries will be included as part of the portfolio.
 
Quality section: Students will submit 5 works of art for the Quality section of the AP portfolio.
ALL finished art works must show a “mastery of drawing”. Markmaking.
